Happy Halloween

Wooooooohoooooo it's finally here. I hope everyone's day is filled creepy Halloween goodness. So watch horror flicks, eat your fill of candy, and give somebody a good scare. From Me, Hunchy and the gang HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Quick and Dirty

I decided to not color or paint this one I think it works well as a drawing. These are the beginning of a series of an yet to be named project.

Head Injury Theater

If candy apples had a long lost big brother it would be Head Injury. I found out about this site first through the webcomics telethon and on the same day saw name on some of the entries(and I think he won), in Halloween art contest. So I went to the site and realized we were doing similar things with our sites. It was if I was able to see into the future and see what candy apples could become. This is the site that I learned about the 24 hour comic, and cafepress from. I've been debating about whether or not to post about this in fear of sounding like some giddy 13 year old girl giggling about whatever 13 year old girls giggle about. Fuck it, this site is definitely worth checking out, and this is my way of saying thank you for the unintentional guidance.

New Art

I put up new a new drawing,like always feel free to tell me what you think good or bad.

Back to Normal

Well the site is back to normal. New site going up in Nov. Candy Apples will get a face lift and were welcoming a new addition to the family, www.lurkingsouls.com. This will take care of all our comic needs. Lots of work. But lots of fun. Thanks again for those of you that participated in what turned out to be a 16 hour comic.

Half Way

12 hours down, 12 more to go. I'm no way near getting this all done on time. What I've learned so far: the 24 hour comic or anything for that matter is a lot harder than I thought. Also when attempting your first full page comic it's probably best not to do it as a 24 hour marathon. Plus I need to figure out a better way to create these. My normal way of drawing stuff for the site is a time consuming process, so it doesn't lend itself to this experiment. I've spent some time working on these and the bitch of it is it doesn't show. Anyway I've wasted enough time writing this. More putting the actual work off. Shame on me.

24 hour Comic

It's on. Thursday 24 pages in 24 hours. What it ends up being about is up to you. So leave comments. Also leave a let me know if you'd rather see it in color or black and white. So I don't cheat I'm not going to read any comments until Thursday when I start. Check in starting Thursday I'll be updating every hour on my progress. I'm excited and a little scared. But it should be fun. I hope to hear from whoever is coming here.

It's October!

You'll notice that some stuff has disappeared from the site. It's ok well miss them but they had to die so we could make room for some new stuff. Are you guys excited? I am.

P.S. Encore is having 31 nights of fear so every night they are showing a different horror movie. Woooohooooo let the bloodbath begin.
